Posted date: 15/May/2011

The flamboyant actor, director and producer Prakash Raj is taking up ‘Swaroopa’ sometime in this year. This is after B Suresha’s ‘Bahuroopi’ Kannada cinema. This is the second direction of Prakash Raj. His earlier film ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ was an acclaimed film – a remake of ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ Tamil film.

The pride of South Indian cinema Prakash Raj now working in ‘Budda’ with Amitabh Bachchan and ‘Singam’ remake in Hindi starring Ajay Devgun rushed after the premier to Mumbai to take part in early morning shooting for Ajay Devgun film and for the dubbing of Amitabh Bachchan cinema.

On his film ‘Puttakkana High Way’ that was premiered on Saturday evening for the media, Prakash Raj stated that what we feel transforming on silver screen – is this type of film. A platform has now been constructed from ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’. What we felt for so many years, talent, identity and life generating out of it is happening now gradually feels Prakash Raj.
It is at the 50th day of Naanu Nanna Kanasu I was fascinated with the script of B Suresha. He was in USA trip when I was admiring the script of ‘Puttakkana High Way’ remembered Prakash Raj.

The spirit in us making this film is genuine. There is honesty and responsibility too. My role of Shani Krishna finally taking up watchman job is having many sensitive issues like that of Shruthi, Achyuth and others. In reaching with this subject it might be a feeble attempt – Prakash Raj agrees. We have done the film with Sambrama and Sadagara. We have reached the break even. There is Ashaya, Tuditha and Artha in this kind of film feels Prakash Raj.

In the journey of Duet Movies and Media House we would like to go in for more ventures in this year says Prakash Raj. Aithele….next time Barthini Mathadava…..he pushed off to a Mumbai flight direction.
